Words
What I do with some words
I capture words and phrases
to write down on my page
where forms gather organically
like ideas
plucked from the air
they are embedded into the image
a pictorial souvenir
recording
sounds and thoughts
bringing life to the visuals
when viewed aloud.
Some Poems
So, clarity...
Double shot of Kahlua
Glass of water with ice
The candle sits beside us
on the low table
Hum
I hate words.
Country Wares
Strolling through
covered avenues
of gold and lime green
the sun flickering through,
I think of you
and wish you were here;
I read those words
Honey, Eggs and Cream
I want you here
what we could do with those
things!
Makes a nice dream
Honey, Eggs and Cream.
Dumped
In a cupboard
the most loved things
are the most neglected,
falling in and out of favour
getting tossed out with the trash
then picked up
rediscovered,
by someone
who’ll love me
all over again.
Possibly toss me out too;
or set me on fire. |
